At Sim Dynasty, we have 3 different types of multi-season pay leagues. Dynasty, Speed, and Private Leagues. We also have free single season leagues which exist for a season and are then restarted from scratch.

Dynasty Leagues
Dynasty leagues play 3 games per day with seasons running about 2 months. The cost for these leagues starts at $10.95 per season, with discounts for purchasing multiple seasons at one time.
At this time, we don't start new Dynasty leagues. But you can still get into a Dynasty league as a Replacement owner in an existing league. We also typically offer discounts on these teams. Dynasty seasons end around January 15th, March 15th, May 15th, July 15th, September 15th, and November 15th. We usually start looking for new owners 15 days before the season ends. Check the home page, or Latest News on the message boards, around this time to see which teams are available.
Speed and Private Leagues
These leagues are very similar to one another. Each league typically plays more than 3 games per day, and owners in these leagues commit to the league in 8 month increments. There are 2 major differences. Speed Leagues don't allow special rules, whereas Private [ Leagues can have special rules that are enforced by the league on itself. Also, as the name suggests, Private Leagues can exclude owners from signing up whereas Speed Leagues are open to the public. That being said, most Private Leagues have an open sign-up policy.
Immediate Openings
Current openings for expansion or replacement are available at the available teams page. The leagues are already in existence and may have special rules that you will need to review before purchasing. Teams may be password protected in which case you should read the commissioner's comments for instructions and/or contact them via U2U or post.

Speed and Private League Costs
There are 3 different stages you can join one of these leagues. It can be a new league (New Teams), it can be a league that is at the end of the 8 month term (Expansion Teams), or it can be a league where one of the owners has abandoned his team (Replacement Teams). Expansion Teams participate in an Expansion Draft, where all the players from teams leaving the league are dispersed to the new teams entering the league. Replacement Teams receive whatever is left in the 8 month term, plus the next 8 month term.
The costs for these leagues varies depending on games per day.

Subscription Leagues
If your looking for the pace of a private league, without the upfront cost, these are right for you. These leagues are private leagues configured to accept a monthly automated payment via Paypal.
Because the payments are monthly, turnover is distributed evenly throughout the year and may occur at any time. Because they are replacing one or more owners rather regularly, you are welcome to contact the commish directly. If they are not currently looking for a new owner, the commish should be able to put your name on a waiting list.
The Orlando Cepeda League is a tiered/ladder league, similar to international soccer leagues. There is a ML, AAA, AA, and A league. The top four teams each season move up a division, and the bottom four move down. Seasons run 9 games per day. Orlando Cepeda League Forum

Due to the nature of the subscription payment process, you'll need to contact the commissioner for approval and a payment link to these leagues.
Single Season Leagues
Single Season Leagues
Single Season Leagues are free leagues that conduct an initial draft and play one season of baseball. Single Season Leagues were created for owners to test out Sim Dynasty before jumping in right into a Dynasty League or for other owners to gain more experience. The game play is nearly the same as the Dynasty Leagues, except that teams are not carried over to the next season.
Single Season owners have the same trade options available to them as Dynasty owners, except that they do not have the option to trade future draft picks. League message boards are available for each league, and there is a Sim Dynasty message board available for all owners to post questions or share ideas or just ask questions.
ABE simulates games three times a day for Single Season, Short Season, and Dynasty Leagues. Each calendar day a team plays a three-game series with an opponent in their league. There is no inter-league play. Each league starts and finishes each season on the same calendar day. The entire season will run approximately 2 months in real time. To sign-up for full season, Single Season leagues, go the the [www.simdynasty.com Sim Dynasty site], make sure you are logged in, and click on Owner --> Sign Up. Full season sign-ups are only available about one week every two months at the beginning of Dynasty season - check Latest News for this season's schedule.
Short Season Leagues
In order to accommodate as many owners and teams as possible, Short Season Leagues are available so that you can sign up to play any time a season is in progress. All Single Season Leagues start their seasons the same day as Dynasty Leagues. If you sign up for a Single Season League after the regular season has started, you will be assigned to a Short Season League. These Short Season Leagues are identical to Single Season Leagues except that their draft preferences are modified and they will play an abbreviated season. The number of games played will depend on when the league filled up with 16 owners, and how far along the full single season is. For example, if your Short Season League started at game number 49, you will only play 114 games for that season.

Replacement Team
Some single season owners may abandon their teams - or sign-up for the league and never return to try the game. The replacement team feature allows you to play the game within minutes by taking over a team that has been abandoned by someone else. This is the quickest way to check out the features of the site and the game. There is no waiting for the draft and the league has already been filled and is in progress.
Draft Team
Another option is to register for a new league that is in the process of forming. These leagues have a draft which should occur within 24-48 hours - the evening after the league fills with 16 owners. The advantages of the wait are that you start with a new team in a new league.
